Your Security Action Plan

Use this checklist to track your progress in implementing the four key security steps. Remember, start small and build gradually!

1. Software Updates

Set my monthly "Update Day": _______________ (e.g., first Sunday)

Update Windows computer.
Update iPhone/iPad.

2. Strong Passphrases

Create strong passphrases for critical accounts (email, banking, social media, shopping).

Ensure passphrases are at least 16 characters long.
Include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
Use unique passphrases for each important account.

3. Password Manager

Select a password manager (recommendation: Bitwarden).
Set up account with a strong master password.
Install on computer browser, smartphone, and tablet.
Save passwords for important accounts (email, banking, etc.).

4. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
